Linarite is named after the Linares Plateau, Spain, where it's generally found. Linarite is a somewhat rare, crystalline mineral that is known among mineral collectors for its unusually intense, pure blue color. It is formed by the oxidation of galena and chalcopyrite and other copper sulfides. Linarite is easily confused with azurite, but does not react with dilute hydrochloric acid as azurite does.

Used to stimulate the psychic center and to promote astral travel. Also used to facilitate telepathy. Linarite is highly energy specific. It is great for meditation and dream support. It grounds energetic awareness on the psychic level. It deepens the psychic processes especially in investigative work, as it will support the ability to distinguish highly subtle energetic clues in the environment
